Itinerary
Day 1: Chiang Mai arrival
Upon arrival at Chiang Mai airport, meet with your guide and be taken to the hotel for check-in and relaxation. Overnight in Chiang Mai
Day 2: Chiang Mai – Patara Elephant Farm (Full day) (B,L)
After early breakfast, pick up and depart to the Patara Elephant Farm & take part in tour “Elephant Owner For A Day”. On arrival, you will make registration, and then get change to our training outfit, prepare for the training.
Afterwards, you will learn how to hike, track and approach your elephant in the bush, unchain the elephant, walk, feed, bathe and brush your elephant in the river. You will be trained to ride on the elephant’s neck using many different techniques with spoken commands for the elephant. Set out on a bare-back adventure and ride to a local temple, village and waterfall. You will have an opportunity to swim with your elephant. Enjoy picnic lunch today.
Afterwards, ride the elephant back to the farm and say good bye to the mahouts and everyone. Return to your hotel for refreshment. Overnight in Chiang Mai
Day 3: Chiang Mai – Leisure biking and Eagle Track Zipline Adventure (Full day) (B,L)
After breakfast, meet with your guide and drive to a meeting point where you will have a short safety briefing, then hop on your bike and leave out on the streets of downtown Chiang Mai. Traffic is light around that time as you begin your journey south, following the Ping River downstream. The ride is pleasant and green due to the proximity of the river. You also ride past various fruit orchards and encounter the Thai way of life as you weave your way through villages and farmland on the outskirts of Chiang Mai. Return to the downtown for having lunch at a local restaurant.
This afternoon, further our drive to The Eagle Track Zipline Adventure located under an hour outside of Chiang Mai city center, situated between three hill tribe villages up in the hillside with paddy fields and the Maeram River flowing below.
Upon arrival, take part in the ultimate rush with 9 ziplines to fly down and up to 30 kilometers per hour. For experienced zipliners, try performing the “Superman” move arms and legs spread eagle as you shoot down the line, hooked in from behind to keep your hands free. 20 platforms including afford a birds’ eye view of the surrounding jungle and breathtaking scenery all around you. Day 4: Chiang Mai half day with Doi Suthep and Phu Ping Palace – Departure (B,L)
After breakfast, check out yourn hotel and drive up Doi (Mount) Suthep to visit Wat Phrathad Doi Suthep built in 1383 on Doi Suthep (3500 feet above sea – level), is the symbol of Chiangmai. It is the most sacred temple in the city and contains the holy relic of the Lord Buddha which is enshrined in the magnificent golden pagoda with a challenging flight of over 300 steps, flanked by enormous mythological Nagas. A panoramic view of the city and the surrounding countryside can be seen from the temple grounds.
Continue to visit Phu Ping Palace, their Majesties’ Winter Palace (4000 feet above sea level), 4 km beyond Wat Phra That Doi Suthep on Doi Buak Ha. This royal winter palace was built in 1962 with the lavishly landscaped gardens and grounds. Lunch is at a local restaurant.
This afternoon, transfer to the airport for your departure flight or to next destination. Trip ends!
